ARI Recognized by ASTD for eLearning Course Development

American Research Institute, Inc. (ARI) has been recognized by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) for an eLearning course developed for Sodexo, Inc. The Excellence in Practice Citation recognizes Sodexo University and ARI for the exemplary practice, Come Alive with Sodexo and to share Sodexo’s organizational learning with the ASTD membership and the WLP community. ASTD is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals.
The Come Alive with Sodexo program is receiving a citation for meeting a demonstrated need, its strong evaluation plans, and its design.
Come Alive with Sodexo was one of 131 entries; 21 practices were selected to receive awards and 38 were chosen for citations. ASTD’s Excellence in Practice accomplishments are recognized at two levels—awards and citations—based on new and proven practices in the areas of learning technologies, performance improvement, managing change, valuing differences, career development, organizational learning, technical training, training management and workplace learning and development.
The citation will be presented at an Awards Ceremony and Reception on Monday evening, May 17th during the ASTD International Conference & Expo in Chicago. The event will be held at the Drake Hotel and will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the presentation of awards and citations followed by a reception. In addition, descriptions of winning practices will be published in a booklet distributed at the awards ceremony and conference and published on the ASTD website.
