BLM Contracts with ARI for Four Surveying Courses
Courses will bring surveying training up to date
Raleigh, NC, October 6, 2003
The Bureau of Land Management has issued a contract to American Research Institute, Inc. (ARI) for the development of a series of four web-based cadastral surveying courses. The Bureau has a need to update and modernize cassette and slide-based courses, some of which are 20 years old.
The courses will be used to train BLM engineers on:
- Survey Records Investigation
- Cadastral Survey Monumentation
- Corner Point Identification
- Introduction to Water Boundary Surveys
