ARI Selected to Provide Training Development and Delivery Support to Nextel
Wide range of training services to be provided
Raleigh, NC, May 1, 2004
Nextel Corporation has selected American Research Institute, Inc. (ARI) out of a competitive analysis of courseware development and training support vendors to augment Nextel University’s Curriculum Design Center. ARI will develop and maintain over 16 courses for Nextel. ARI will also support the delivery of large numbers of Nextel courses by providing instructors and logistical support.
Some of the specific functions ARI will provide under this contract are:
- Providing instructors, courseware, and logistic services for courses throughout national training locations
- Handling of equipment and courseware for courses throughout North America to be timed to a created schedule
- Maintaining pool of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for courseware development and instructor training
- Creating and managing course delivery scheduling
- Scheduling and managing external merger training activities consisting of 175 2-day sessions in a 30 day period
