Niche Networks, Inc is Acquired by American Research Institute, Inc.
Raleigh, NC, June 15, 2004
American Research Institute, a training services company based in Raleigh, North Carolina, announced today the acquisition of the training division of Niche Networks, Herndon, Virginia. The addition of the training division of Niche Networks adds significant instructor-led delivery capabilities to ARI’s existing offerings. The integrated companies plan to operate under the ARI name.
“The addition of Niche gives ARI a wide variety of technical training courses as well as an industry-standard delivery platform” said Richard Kristof, CEO of ARI. “Niche’s proven history of semi-custom delivery is a perfect fit for today’s corporations that want custom training on an off-the-shelf budget,” added Kristof.
“While Niche had several excellent offers to purchase the company, ARI was the best fit and provides the most upside potential for the future,” said Bridget Robeson, CEO of Niche Networks.
ARI will retain Niche’s Herndon, Virginia, office and Robeson will assist ARI as with Corporate Development. All of the services provided by Niche will become part of the new ARI offering.
