American Research Institute Awarded Contract by US Air Force AFIT to Develop Two New Courses
American Research Institute Will Develop Two Additional eLearning Courses to train Air Force maintenance management.
Raleigh NC, November 1, 2005
After a successful initial development project, American Research Institute has received the award to develop two additional eLearning courses for the US Air Force. ARI received the award after competing the Airworthiness Certification course on-time and on-budget with a highly interactive user interface. "Our goal with the Airworthiness course was to take a very complex process and provide learners the tools to retain this information when it is used infrequently." Explained Rhonda Harmon, Chief Learning Officer for ARI. "We plan to employ similar techniques with these new projects."
The two courses, Maintenance Required Review Board (MRRB) Depot Purchased Equipment Maintenance Process (DEPM) both involve complex processes and will utilize a large number of subject matter experts. The courses will be developed simultaneously by two centrally managed teams each interacting with separate Air Force subject matter experts (SME). ARI uses a proprietary collaboration process to streamline the interaction with large SME teams and deliver training on-time and within budget.
