Triangle Game Initiative to Lead Panel on Futures in “Gaming and Immersive Learning

Richard Kristof, CEO of American Research Institute, will participate in a panel discussion on futures in “Gaming and Immersive Learning” Nov. 5, 2009 at the second annual Internet Summit. The Triangle Game Initiative (TGI) is a non-profit trade association for the Raleigh-Durham, interactive entertainment industry. The TGI panel will feature several of the region’s top game and immersive industry technologists, including:
- Juan Benito, founder of Cooperative Entertainment and co-founder of Red Storm Entertainment
- Richard Kristof co-founder and CEO of American Research Institute
- R. Michael Young, associate professor of Computer Science at North Carolina State University, founder and co-director of the NCSU Digital Games Research Center and director of the Liquid Narrative research group
- Shaun McCabe, Production Director for Insomniac Games

Internet Summit 09, which will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center Nov. 4-5, 2009, will also feature speakers Joe Kennedy, President & CEO of Pandora and Richard Jalichandra, CEO of Technorati.
At the Summit, 75 industry leaders will present a wide variety of content centered on Internet trends and opportunities created by new Web technologies, social media, real time, online advertising, search, blogs, mobile, ecommerce, usability, video, design and other best practices.
