ARI Resourcing Example
Finding people to be on your team, not on your payroll
Challenge
A major telecommunications company required additional staff on a temporary basis to develop corporate-wide training on a new software system. The company needed a number of contract instructional design personnel to work onsite at various offices throughout the United States to ensure the training was developed and delivered on time. Close proximity to the specific systems during the process was a critical component.
Approach
ARI was selected to deliver the staff to fit this critical need. Because our business model relies heavily upon the use of variable labor , the majority of personnel used for this requirement had already worked with ARI on other projects. This knowledge of the individual strengths of each person combined with the battery of screening techniques allowed ARI to quickly and correctly match the right personnel to each position.
Within a few hours of the initial request, two people were identified and assigned to the first project. By the conclusion of the first month, fifteen people were in place at customer offices in five states. By the fourth month, ARI had positioned twenty instructional designers in support of the project. Approximately thirty individuals are now working for ARI at various customer locations providing instructional design, e-learning content development, and classroom learning development services.
Content areas supported directly by ARI personnel include new hire orientation, customer care, systems training, consumer group training, and unified billing.
Business Result
ARI continues to provide valuable overflow support for the customer's content development team. The customer has been able to fully leverage the breadth and depth of ARI resources as an extension of their organizational structure during this critical period. ARI staffing services also provides the customer with the flexibility to rapidly deploy key personnel across the organization in support of each training initiative.
