Content Management System
The Content Management System (CMS) used within the PowerU Platform is simple to tailor and use. The CMS allows users to easily capture, search and collaborate on documents relating to learning content with full library services. The PowerU CMS also provides document lifecycle management on a unified, robust repository.
The CMS automatically transforms documents for different purposes. For instance, it can transform office documents to ODF/PDF or PowerPoint to Flash.
PowerU CMS helps you manage the lifecycle of any document by supporting check-in/out and version control. It provides an audit trail of who created and who changed the document.
The CMS provides for workflow with e-mail based notices. It also supports threaded discussions to foster collaboration.
Security is provided by enabling document-level management of which users, groups or roles have what level of access (if any) to the document.
